My why…
My childhood wouldn’t have been my childhood without the countless hours I spent in a theatre. I never felt so alive and free then with a script in hand and rummaging through the wardrobe department looking for that perfect fit for the character. It made everyday worth getting out of bed for me… Some people said “Holly is too serious for her age.” which I took as a compliment because, they were right, I was serious about acting… because it was a place I could and can be myself. I delight in building the circumstantial world gifted by the screenwriter or playwright, to get to build a full human being from words on a page and bring them to life! It sounds poetic but can you think of anything more exciting?
